CSI at Shorefields.


As part of Year 10's Btec coursework, students set up a model crime scene.


They collected evidence, took photographs and carried out investigations including:


  •     Ink analysis
  •    Soil analysis
  •    Fingerprinting
  •    Hair analysis
  •    Fibre analysis
  •    Unknown liquid analysis
  •    DNA analysis
The moon lands on Shorefields.


For one week in May Shorefields students had the
honour of examining samples of moon rocks and
meteorites close up!


The meteorites landed in India, Austrailia and
Egypt.


The moon rocks were collected by NASA during
the Apollo moon missions
